The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

The Early Years Foundation Stage is a play-based, child centered education framework and standard for all schools in the United Kingdom. Children are empowered to be active participants in their learning and are valued members of the school community. It rests upon 4 guiding principles and 7 key areas of development. Through them, the EYFS aims to achieve important learning milestones for correct childhood development.
