Pre-Nursery Curriculum

At Grace Garden International Kindergarten and Nursery, we are passionate about providing our pre-nursery students with a unique learning experience. Instruction is centred on a high-quality, research-based curriculum that is aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

You can be confident that our high-quality sessions will foster and enrich your child’s learning and development, with a curriculum specifically tailored to support students’ socio-emotional, physical and cognitive development. We inspire and encourage a joy for active learning in our students through interactive lessons that incorporate singing, play, crafts and hands-on investigation. These exciting and motivating activities are also intended to develop students’ imaginations and encourage them to explore their personalities and preferences.

Our curriculum fulfils the EYFS criteria by incorporating the following areas:

  • Free play, to develop communication and social skills
  • Gym time to develop motor skills and promote health and wellbeing
  • Singing and music time to foster creativity, imagination and language and literacy skills
  • Arts, crafts and sensory activities to encourage self-expression and develop creativity
  • Story time to develop personal and emotional skills
  1. Practical English skill focus areas to allow everyday communication

All pre-nursery classes utilise both English and Mandarin as their language stream.
